If you find that your LoveLight is flashing orange after you have already configured it please check the following:
In general: An orange heart indicates your LoveLight is in setup mode. This can happen because:
- You held a touch to the LoveLight for longer than 20 seconds. Holding a touch for longer than 20 seconds does a "factory reset" on the LoveLight and places it into setup mode. Note that this can happen if you hold a touch longer than 20 seconds but also if you pick it up and hold it for a long period of time as well.
- Your deregistered your LoveLight via the app
- Your WiFi went offline
Troubleshooting Steps
Case 1) As a first troubleshooting step, please unplug and plug your LoveLight back in. If it reconnects (doesn't blink orange) you are good to go. If this happens, please make sure your LoveLight is in an area with good WiFi reception as being too far from your WiFi can sometimes cause it to go offline. Also, please be sure it is not near any source of electrical interference such as a space heater or a speaker.
Case 2) If your LoveLight flashes orange when you plug it back in just go ahead and "add" it back in the app by clicking the blue plus button in the app. Your LoveLight will be reconnected to your network.
If it is case 2, please be aware that picking up or holding your LoveLight may put it in setup mode. Also, if it is near any sort of electrical disturbance this can be interpreted as a touch so just be mindful of the placement.
